To supervise the operations of a brand-new innovation campus called Square One inspired by SICPA -- a unique 30’000m2 site in Prilly comprising office and common spaces as well as green areas -- currently under construction and due to open by end of Q2 2022, we are looking for a:


 


SITE MANAGER


 


ROLE


 



  • Establish, coordinate and lead partnerships with external providers to ensure site and building maintenance, engineering, security, facilities operations including : concierge services, cafeteria services, space planning and management, logistics and purchasing, waste management, gardening services, hospitality management, IT services etc. 

  • Develop and manage a maintenance strategy that enables the site to meet operational goals.

  • Maintain strong relationships with the site’s key business partners and stakeholders and ensure business continuity and a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, to improve the quality of facilities and service levels related to utilities; maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the providers’ community.

  • Develop and manage a robust management program for the site’s infrastructure and assets.

  • Develop and implement facilities and environmental sustainability strategies for the site.

  • Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations, actively support HSE policy and ensure they tie into facilities and engineering. 

  • Manages facilities of a large capital project and ensures facilities requirements are considered and integrated into new projects. 


 


 


PROFILE


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Business from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Member of a relevant industry recognized organization, for example: International Facility Management Association (IFMA), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL).

  • Minimum of 10 years experience working within a regulated facility as a part of a professional facilities, engineering or operations department in Switzerland.

  • Proven ability to establish and manage relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and project management skills; proven experience leading large capital projects.

  • Experience analysing/reviewing sophisticated financial models and cost/benefit analysis with strong cost and risk management skills.

  • Excellent problem solver with a proven ability to generate innovative solutions to complex issues. 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

  • French native and English speaker
