As a Portfolio Accounting Officer, you will join the Portfolio Accounting team within our Operations Department. Based in Geneva, the team is responsible for supporting Pictet AM’s fund managers by ensuring an accurate view of their portfolios, performing internal validation of portfolios to provide completeness and quality of valuation and P&L, and processing transition activity, thereby contributing to the highest quality and efficiency of the Core Operation’s service offering.


Your role



  • Daily monitoring and input of cash flows in accounting systems.

  • Conducting daily market value checks.

  • Conducting performance checks on a regular basis (daily/weekly/monthly).

  • Responding promptly to any queries raised by both internal and external clients.

  • Providing valuations and signing off to external clients/custodians.

  • Ensuring smooth on-boarding of new accounts and transition activities.

  • Contributing to ad-hoc projects.


Your profile



  • Minimum 3 years of continuous experience working in the operations department of a global asset management company.

  • Track-record in providing administrative support to fund managers.

  • Experience working with global custodians.

  • Good understanding of portfolio-valuation methodology.

  • Reconciliation knowledge and performance calculation experience would be an advantage.

  • Good interpersonal skills that will allow you to collaborate effectively and build solid work relationships within the team as well as with investment managers and custodians.

  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude towards error and problem solving.

  • Numerate and technically at ease in the analytical use of data (with Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Organization and time-management skills.

  • Effective communication in both French and English.

  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
