In view of our continued global growth, we are to strengthening our OM Pharma team, and therefore are currently looking for an Analytical Biochemistry Scientist in our manufacturing plant in Geneva for a fixed term contract of 18 months. In this function, you will work on the development and the validation of analytical methods used to better characterize one OM Pharma biotechnological product. You will report directly to the Senior Scientist in charge of the project.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:•Development and validation of optimized biochemical assays (e.g. protein assay, SDS Page, HPLC...) within the deadlines.•Assessment of new technologies for product characterization•Contribute to implement innovative approaches and technologies in cross- functional teams.•Identify providers of analytical services for the management of certain external activities•Write protocol, SOP and study reports•Communicate effectively and proactively on results to direct report and to AS teams•Respect of the procedures and quality/security rules of OM Pharma

For this role, we are a looking for a Scientist with a first experience (at least 2 years) in analytical laboratory in Pharma, bringing the following profile: •Master, Engineer's degree in biochemistry / biotechnology•At least 2 years of experience in analytical laboratory•Strong scientific and technical skills in analytical sciences for biologics•Experience of work in GxP and knowledge of US/EU guidelines for assays validation•Experience in protein/peptide purification will be considered•Fluent French and very good level of English is required
