With its high-voltage products business, Hitachi ABB Power Grids Switzerland has established itself worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution. In your role as Sales Support Specialist with technical and/or commercial know-how you will be the key contact person for our customers. With your customer understanding you sell and develop our versatile service portfolio and ensure profitable growth and high customer satisfaction. You advise and process customer inquiries for spare parts and services for GIS and outdoor switches (LTB) in the assigned sales area. At the same time, you coordinate incidents with internal contact persons and ensure professional and prompt solutions. Your responsibilities



  • Handle assigned customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and competent manner

  • Develop quotations independently and in cooperation with customer and internal departments (engineering, processing, assembly, procurement, legal, new business, ABB factories, local service centers, FES, etc.)

  • Pursue quotations, realize sales

  • Transfer reviewed orders to processing

  • Professional support of internal and external customers, obtain and prepare customer requirements, train sales partners

  • Maintain market, installed base, customer, offer, and order information in reports and sales database

  • Active cooperation or/and leadership in internal process improvements

  • Sales support for sales area managers (area sales managers) for project offers

  • Taking over improvement projects or development projects of new tools

  • Responsibility for standardization of offers and prices


Your background



  • Technical and/or business administration basic education (apprenticeship, FH/TH, diploma)

  • Commercial and business management basic knowledge

  • Gasolated switchgear (GIS) and outdoor switchgear (LTB) knowledge

  • SAP, MS Office

  • English and German knowledge, other languages desirable
