We are looking for a remarkable Demand Planner and Forecast Analyst to join DSM.


Location: Kaiseraugst, Switzerland


 


The Challenge:


As a Demand Planner and Forecast Analyst you will prepare and maintain the sales plan for the Personal Care EMEA market within the DSM group reporting into the regional commercial manager. You can expect frequent interaction with Global Key Account managers, regional account managers, marketing, finance and supply chain management, and key customers or strategic distribution partners.


The Position:



  • Manages the EMEA demand forecast via statistical forecast model and/or bottom-up input from regional account managers and selected customers

  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the demand planning function for the region

  • Communicates demand issues; advises on trade-offs, and manages these

  • Measures the realization of the previously agreed sales plan (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, Bias and OTIF) and defines corrective actions

  • Establishes and coordinates the execution of allocation plans in case of product shortage

  • Supports business management in establishing yearly sales budgets and periodic outlook reporting


 


The Ideal:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration

  • 2-5 years professional experience preferably in supply chain management in an international environment

  • SAP and/or Advanced Planning Tools competencies linked with an affinity for data analysis

  • S&OP business process knowledge

  • Teamplayer with clear and convincing communication skills

  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
