Stellenbeschreibung

• Track and gather technical innovation and progress internally and bring it to patents.


• Intelligence activity for identified stakeholders in the battery innovation market (especially solid state batteries)


• Perform patent reviews and surveillance of development activity 


• Perform searches of technology information, market information on request (resp. order)


• Technology scouting and identify and search for critical and key technologies (existing or new), prepare reviews  and benchmark information


• Interface between internal stakeholders, consulting IP activities


• Elaboration of a patenting strategy


• Competitor monitoring

Profil

• You have an overview of the battery technologies market as well battery technology knowledge


• Ability to quickly become familiar with new technologies


• Familiar with basic the IP basic law concepts, patent and scientific data bases and usual software tools


• Ability to apply broad research and analysis at the technology and business levels


• Strong analytical skills and an ability to develop synthesized view of complex technology and market environment

Berufliche Anforderungen

• Ideally you have a technical degree in electrochemistry field in particular in the field of lithium ion batteries


• The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in patent prosecution and patent application drafting, leading inventor meetings, developing patent strategy in a corporate and/or law firm setting, and a license to practice

Sprachen

• Fluency in English, a good knowledge of German or French would also be an advantage
