Responsibilities

Major functions:



  • Engage external audiences by producing, sourcing and managing written and audio-visual content

  • Optimize content using organic and paid strategies across digital channels

  • Develop and drive best practice SEO for group and market websites

  • Create compelling campaigns using PPC, paid social and email marketing

  • Support teams and respond to requests for digital content production and marketing opportunities across the organization

  • Ensure high digital engagement through social, email and web content

  • Liaise with agencies and manage relationships

  • Own our social listening strategy, continually looking for ways to optimize opportunities, manage risks and develop positive brand reputation in the marketplace

  • Monitor and report on digital performance for continuous improvement

  • Develop and deliver online paid campaigns to target audiences with our key messages ensuring maximum ROI across channels

  • Report and monitor ensuring continuous improvement for our paid campaigns

  • Use remarketing pixels to develop an always-on user experience

  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies

  • Manage budgets

  • Provide tactical digital marketing support to the organization

  • Drive best practice for our digital marketing efforts

  • Monitor and report on digital performance analytics for web, email and social

  • Create social listening campaigns to maximise opportunities to get on the front foot with our narrative and own our story

  • Develop thought leadership and position Holcim as the voice for the industry when it comes to green and sustainable building globally

  • Provide training and support to colleagues in regards to best practice on digital communications and marketing


Education/Qualifications



  • A bachelors or equivalent in communications, marketing or other relevant fields

  • 5 + years experience in digital marketing and digital paid campaigns

  • Relevant advanced qualifications in communications, design, media, technical, or other related subjects desirable


Experience



  • Demonstrable experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a complex, large, global organization

  • Proven track record creating digital marketing campaigns across web, social, email

  • Experience working on branded social media across Facebook Business Pages, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Instagram/Facebook Stories

  • Demonstrable experience of social listening tools and how to develop intelligence into digital marketing campaigns

  • Experience of issues and crisis management on social would be an advantage

  • Experience of working with and managing digital and creative agency relationships

  • Experience of working in an international environment and multi-cultural team 


Knowledge & Skills



  • Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail

  • Rich media editing and/or design (e.g. Photoshop) skills

  • Knowledge of analytics platforms incl Google Analytics and social media analytics

  • Articulate, creative, passionate, flexible and resilient

  • Interest in sustainability and environmental issues

  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Excellent team player with good networking and interpersonal skills


Language Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English – other language(s) an advantage
