As Application Owner SAP Ariba, MM and Process Engineer Procurement, you will be a vital member of the Turbocharging Division. In your role you will represent the Division interests in IS projects, manage projects and participate in the identification of process improvements. In addition, you will be responsible for building up and extending knowledge about Division business processes and the application landscape.

Your responsibilities

• Leading discussions with logistics, procurement and controlling departments in relation to SAP Ariba, SAP MM


• Consulting in relation to SAP Ariba, SAP MM with the help of existing Application Owner and business power user organization


• Defining and implementing application strategies in close cooperation with colleagues, third party suppliers, product groups and the Division IS delivery functions


• Supporting today’s R3 in order to get familiar with our existing system to be prepared for upcoming Carve Out projects and a smooth transition


• Continuous analysis, enhancement and optimization of logistics and procurement


• Ensuring structured and transparent evaluation of new applications, modules and function by building strong relationships to facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge and best practices


• Supporting the preparation of diverse Sub Streams for the overarching Carve Out Project of Turbocharging - Sub Streams in area of S2P (SLP, direct (SCC) & indirect (Buying))


• Master Data Management for Suppliers & Quality Management


• Aiding the development of processes and tools, ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts, and investigating inefficiencies and areas for improvement

Your background

• Min. 5 years of experience as Functional Consultant SAP Ariba, SAP MM with knowledge in the industry field (focus on logistics & procurement)


• Experience with S/4 Hana in the area of MM and basic MM inventory management, integration with new service module or CS module in S/4 Hana


• Demonstrated project management capabilities in an international industrial group (agile/hybrid approach)


• Experience with SAP QM, SD or any other SAP module is a plus


• Experience with SAP & cloud integration/interface projects and technologies like ALE, iDOC, B2B, CPI/CGI, MDG


• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies


• Relevant university degree combined with professional work experience in a similar role within an industry/service environment


• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is an asset
