Summary The Corporate Publishing Manager is responsible for managing the production of corporate publications and collateral (brochures, advertisements, presentations, etc.) at global level, and contributes to the production of written content for publication via other Group communication channels. This role could be based in either Geneva, Rotterdam or Johannesburg. There is only one vacancy.
Main Responsibilities
Corporate Publishing
• Manage the production and publication of LDC’s Annual Report, Interim Report and Sustainability Reports at global level, coordinating with external creative agencies and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders and approvers to ensure content accuracy and alignment with company strategy.
• Support the production and publication of other ad hoc (e.g. platform-specific) company reports or literature.
• Create/update other corporate communication, marketing or promotional materials as needed, including brochures, factsheets, presentations, advertisements, visual collateral, etc.
Copywriting
• Draft or edit messaging for publication via various other corporate channels (websites, social media, videos, etc.) as required, in support of key campaigns or communication milestones.
Experiences
• 10 years of experience as a communication, publications or content manager.
• Proven experience of managing publication project budgets.
• Any experience within a financial or trading sector is a plus.
Skills
• Outstanding project management skills; experienced copywriter with excellent drafting/editing skills; creative skills with an eye for design and photography and keen attention to detail.
• Great IT skills are required for this position: proficient with Office 365, great knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple actions and streams simultaneously.
• Resilient under pressure and able to work with significant time constraints in a dynamic, demanding environment.
• At ease and confident interacting with / presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Able to understand and integrate company context and strategy in his/her work, using sound judgement and good grasp of business issues to propose concepts that align with and support business needs.
• Resilient when face with unforeseen challenges, and agile in identifying alternative solutions/options to resolve issues.
• Native English; any knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese and/or Chinese is a plus.
