You will proactively manage the immigration process for a portfolio of clients from beginning to end, according to the agreed procedures and for all type of work and residence permits.
You ensure that the needs of clients are met at all times
You prepare, file and follow up on work & residence permit applications
You ensure compliance in Switzerland regarding immigration procedures and coordinate solution-oriented immigration processes
You inform all parties on the necessary immigration steps to be taken in an effective and efficient way
You keep complete and accurate files & templates in the system and execute all tasks accurately, including on-time billing
You complete administrative duties associated with the immigration case management and escalate any bottlenecks in the process
You communicate effectively with immigration authorities
You organize translations and/or legalizations if necessary
You assist with the risk management checks for new and ongoing clients.
Your profile
You hold a university degree (Bachelor or equivalent)
You have 2 years or more work experience in an international environment, preferably in visa and immigration or within the field of HR, International Mobility or Customer Service
You have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
You have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Moreover, you have good ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
You are a team player with a positive attitude
You are client service focused and responsive with a "can-do", open-minded attitude
You have strong organizational skills and understand the importance of confidentiality
You are a native German speaker (with excellent writing skills), speak Swiss-German and you are fluent in English. French or Italian are a plus
You hold a valid Swiss work and residence permit
