Junior Buyer/Buyer

For our Buying team we are looking for talented buyers with experience in Denim & Bottoms, Knitwear and other key product categories. The Buyer will develop and deliver a market leading product range aligned to the Tally Weijl brand and brand values. Drive revenue and profit growth by meeting all corresponding consumer needs and tastes across all channels.

In this exciting position you are responsable for the best assortment – best product at the best price, at the right time and in the right quantity.

You will team up with the Senior Buyer or Head Buyer and will ensure a best in class team work and team spirit.

• constantly on the lookout for new and current fashions, best basics and best style for the customer


• drive the product strategy defined with the Head of Buying and adapting it to seasons and countries


• exchange with the merchandise planner, set up a precise assortment plan and stick to targets Cluster, options and budget (proposing promotions)


• develop the existing supplier network: have a global overview of your suppliers' capabilities in order to maximize their performance


• Oversee supplier performance: ensure suppliers meet 100% TALLY WEiJL standards for quality, logistics and ethics


• Negotiate costs and delivery dates; manage the margin according to the budget and deliver ranges on time


• determining scales of quantitates for each line of product


• sourcing new factories and suppliers and setting sourcing, shopping and development trips

Das zeichnet dich aus

• BS/MS/MBA degree in fashion management, business, economics or a related field


• at least three to five years of experience in a similar position


• Fast Fashion Experience


• Knowledge of digital online buying systems


• outstanding negotiation skills


• you live and love fashion


• strong understanding of garment construction and fabric types


• you speak English fluently, any other language is an asset
