Position


We offer a unique opportunity for a dynamic, market-oriented and hands-on manager and thought leader with experience in financial services and with a track record of leading a rapidly growing and cross-functional team.


The position involves managing and implementing innovative software solutions in the field of Investment Advice and Portfolio Management. You will lead a team of experienced quant consultants and software developers by focusing on the following core goals:



  • Successful integration of Advisory and Portfolio Management solution at banks and insurance companies

  • Meeting the budget goals by taking sales ownership and executing the sales strategy

  • Active participation in development of new solutions which are leading-edge

  • Leading diverse teams with different skill profiles reaching from quant experts, over ESG specialists to UI/UX experts

  • Stimulating thought leadership in investment advisory, ESG and client advisory


This requires a strong personality, very good market knowledge within the private banking and wealth manager sector and experience in the integration of medium to large scale IT projects.


Scope


You will be responsible of achieving the budget of your team, the conduct of innovation initiatives and the steady development of your organizational unit. By taking this responsibility it is necessary to show ownership and experience on the following priorities:



  • Financial services expertise – to achieve the best solutions for our clients and understand predominant business cases which are the trigger for our client engagements, you should show experience and a track record in understanding the financial market in Switzerland and the EU. Knowledge in Sustainable Finance and the European Union Action Plan on Sustainable Finance is of advantage since this topic is driving the agenda of financial market.

  • Market know-how - To achieve the budget, you will work on the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of software solutions in the field of Investment Advisory Solutions. You will work closely with sales to do market assessment and implement the marketing campaign of the product line, as well as to define your targets and pitch pipeline. You will define with clients and different internal stakeholders the product and implementation timeline, including a release plan, feature prioritization and capturing actionable feedbacks. Your internal sparring partners are our project manager, quant and development teams, the sales and senior management as well as the Business Area Manager to who you will report to.

  • Integration skills – it is of utmost importance that you show a successful track-record in implementing IT projects within the financial services industry. Ideally in private banking and wealth management at banks and insurance companies. Moreover, a strong knowledge of market trends and regulations is key to understand the client needs as well as contribute to the constant development of our products.


Requirements


To meet this challenge, you need to be passionate about wealth and asset management technology and experienced in excelling in a fast-paced and very agile environment. In addition, we require:



  • Advance education in Economics, Science, Mathematics, or related fields

  • Broad network in the financial market, ideally global

  • Strong project management skills

  • Minimum 8 years of Product Management experience including lifecycle definition, funding assessment, cost modelling, functional and non-functional requirements definition.

  • Strong analytics and communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all level

  • Experience in leading a rapidly growing and cross-functional team

  • Proven capability to develop positive relationship with different stakeholders, including clients, peers and management.

  • Strong knowledge of advisory solutions and portfolio management systems is a strong plus

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
