Test Manager for Cloud based services (m/f)

For our client, a well known pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a Test Manager for Cloud based services (m/f).

Background

The Senior Test Manager orchestrates and leads the Test Strategy & Plan implementation for the Public Cloud Service team globally.
He ensures all services that are engineered through the Public Cloud Release pipelines are thoroughly tested. He create test cases for Cloud services against business requirement and standard test cases applicable for the service, not based on how the service has been designed.

Task & Responsibilities

The successful test manager must be able to:

• Work well organized, fully remote, with the ability to make quick decisions and to provide good judgement in case of disputes during high pressure deadlines.


• Develop personal relationships despite no local, physical meetings are possible (the team conducts face to face interactions via MS Teams)


• We are looking for a team member with strong interpersonal skills and good self-reflection abilities


• Strongly preferred is a self-driven, autonomous, curious person who takes clear ownership of his/her work.


• Strong communication (written and verbal) in English is a must

Must Haves

• Have hands on experience of writing and executing test plans in automated testing platforms like Proton


• Have profound knowledge of knowledge of DevOps methodology and prior experience of testing management of Cloud services in DevOps environment


• Experience (hands on) of writing test cases for Cloud services, in automated testing platforms like Proton
  Strong understanding of testing and automation related deliverables in a cloud based environment


• Pharma or healthcare industry experience required


• Testing and automation tool experience required (Jenkins, HP ALM)


• Must be familiar with key pharma regulations and principles (e.g. GDP, traceability)


• Experience with regulatory, operations, logistics and legalities of moving to different countries strongly preferred


• Experienced working in a global environment with distributed teams in different time zones


• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously


• Experience launching platforms is a plus (AWS & Azure)


• Experience with cloud based implementation (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) a plus


• Hands-on AWS and Azure experience beneficial

Certifications

• Test Management certification required


• PM certification is a must have (e.g. PMP, PMI, IPMA, HERMES)


• AWS and Azure certification is a plus
