Job Description:

This position leads sales support execution for motor grader customers in the mining industry globally. The position is the primary interface for the Resource Industries Sales, Services & Technology (RISST) Division and OEM Solutions.

Accountabilities for the role include:

• Product Group Commercial Support to enable the achievement of Revenue & targets.


• Integration with RISST Field Teams and Marketing Teams to provide customers a seamless experience from a Construction Industries (CI) product group.


• Support to OEM solutions to grow 120 underground sales through Elphinstone.


• Creating, executing, and governing mining OIAs and Leadership Tables.


• Identifying and supporting the Winning Together program with miners who need availability improvement.


• Virtual and in person site assessments.


• Significant exposure to NPI.  Creating specifications, providing Voice of Customer (VOC), creating and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans, and deep involvement in design trade off decisions.  


• Collecting unmet customer needs and translating those into business cases for the product group to evaluate.


• Coordinating training and industry show attendance for RISST and Cat Dealers.


• Collecting competitive intelligence on competitors and developing focused plans to counter competitive threats

Education & Experience:

Business / Engineer Graduate with 7+ years of working experience

Exposure to Caterpillar systems would be an advantage, experience working with / for Mining customers and demonstrating an understanding of large Motor Graders will be an added advantage.
