Who are we?

Sleepiz AG (Ltd.) is a Zürich based startup with a mission to provide patient-centric disease management through seamless integration of contactless monitoring into people’s homes. Sleepiz leverages the power of sleep insights with a device that is simply placed on the bedside table. The device operates in a non-contact fashion and measures movements originating from heart contractions and breathing patterns, as well as body motions with medical grade accuracy.

What you will do

To develop and validate the capability of our contactless sleep monitoring device, we need to be able to accurately reproduce physiological and pathological breathing patterns in a controlled setting. There are certain accepted norms on how to achieve this, however, we require a less technical and more human-like solution. Therefore, we developed a novel approach for which we require your help. You will work directly on improving our prototype and thus have the chance of fulfilling the dream of being an inventor. Your tasks would include automation and improvement of the control interface, developing and integrating a new control loop, as well as setting up and executing measurement procedures with the prototype, a Sleepiz device, and a suitable ground truth reference.

To protect our intellectual property, we cannot provide more details of the prototype in this project description. Please contact us if you are interested and we will be happy to elaborate on the project in more detail!
