An opportunity to join the Construction Project Management function within Group Business Support Services (GBSS), as a Project Manager on a complex multi-year office building refurbishment project in Zurich. The vision for the Construction Project Management function is to deliver office fit-out and refurbishment efforts for the Bank through a globally consistent framework that offers best value to Credit Suisse. Specifically, the Construction Project Management function is focused on ensuring robust control around the portfolio spend and oversight on project planning and delivery. In this position, you will coordinate the project related requirements of all internal partners, and lead the external project teams ensuring all aspects of project execution are successfully delivered throughout the project life cycle.

Your skills and experience

 

You’ll be a good match, if you have:



  • A University degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering

  • At least 7 years of project management experience in the fit-out of corporate environments

  • A good foundation in industry construction practices with experience in design and construction

  • Previous experience in managing external consulting teams delivering projects in regional locations

  • A self-starter who is customer and service oriented and able to build and foster positive relationships with diverse partners at all levels and cultures

  • A dedicated problem solver with leadership qualities and excellent analytical and planning skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal German and English communication skills

  • An understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life so that people from all backgrounds receive equal treatment, realize their full potential and can bring their full, authentic selves to work
