The HR Project Office and Apprentice Program Specialist contributes to the local roadmap and deliverables within her/his area of responsibility and actively drives transformation and development of HR projects and the Swiss Apprentice Program. In this position you will report to the Hub Talent & Learning Lead Central and Southern Europe and work closely with the Apprentice Program Lead in Switzerland. Your responsibilities



  • Enable diverse career paths across job profiles and actively embed our diverse & inclusive culture throughout the employee experience to further develop inclusion, growth, and trust

  • Recruitment of apprentices from all professions in close collaboration with internal and external partners

  • Positioning Hitachi ABB Power Grids as an attractive educational institution with employer branding activities incl. online and offline marketing, implementing a talent retention program and maintaining information offerings for students, parents and schools

  • Organizing internal and external events

  • Coordinate our HR Project Office and be a local point for the project initiatives within Switzerland

  • Support project tasks e.g. planning and implementing workshops, project reporting or developing HR project management standards such as active process management


Your background



  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or in a related field

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role and/or talent management/employer branding

  • A self-starter by nature, you are highly conscientious in your approach, as well as displaying team spirit, a quick intellect and finely honed planning and organizational skills

  • Ideally you have a firm knowledge of the vocational training system in Switzerland or have completed an apprenticeship yourself

  • Willingness and ability to work in an international matrix and multi-cultural environment

  • Fluency in English & German is mandatory
