Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Market Access Manager role will make an impact:  Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop & set up market access unit for Viatris in Switzerland and Austria

  • Define market access strategies for Switzerland and Austria

  • Ensuring optimal and sustainable market access condition for overall Viatris portfolio throughout product lifecycle, maximize pricing and reimbursement

  • Evaluate opportunties in reimbursement and pricing, Lead pricing & reimbursement process

  • Act as contact person for authorities like BAG. Finalisation of high-value BAG dossiers and support the negotiations with authorities, in line with Viatris guidelines

  • Prepare and lead 3 annual governmental pricing process: Elaboration of medical statements in order to support and achieve the best therapeutic cost comparison

  • Support of financial forecasting: Provide pricing assumptions and scenarios for business reviews and Viatris short-, mid- and longterm planning

  • Continuous Analysis of the market environment, the current health policy situation and provide proactive input on necessary adjustments of the Market access strategy

  • Cross functional collaboration with other departments like Sales, Marketing, Medical and external stakeholders.

 The minimum qualifications for this role are: 

  • Preferably University/ ETH degree in life sciences, or health economic education

  • At least 2 years of experience in market access (pharmaceutical environment)

  • Profound knowledge in clinical trials, clinical data management, health economics, evidence-based medicine models

  • Proven ability to develop external networks

  • Strong learning agility and ability to adapt in a changing environment

  • Strong and flexible team player: ability to work in crossfunctional teams and to develop networks internally and externally

  • Extremely conscientious and accurate way of working as well as excellent analytical, operational and strategic skills

  • Accountable, reliable, self-starter

  • Good presentation and communication skills

  • Language Skills: fluent in German and English; French and Italian skills are a plus
