Position Summary


 


As Planning Development Manager, you will facilitate and grow the EMENA Operations Planners (Supply Network Planning & Master Production Scheduling) and DPS (Detail Planning Scheduling) Planners virtual network through training, coaching and assessing capabilities. Furthermore, you will identify and deploy optimum planning solutions as well as act as SPOC for new functionalities and best practice for further deployment into Purina.

A day in the life of a Planning Development Manager


 



  • Manage and maintain Operations planners (Supply Network Planning & Master Production Scheduling) and DPS planners team with training data, Specialist Call Board, KPI dashboard & Skills Matrices.    

  • Develop Operations Planning and DPS planning Team into a European Network to enable Above Market SNP (Supply Network Planning) processes that deliver total delivered cost improvements from optimized supply planning strategies.

  • Identify and maintain Roadmap of activities on Supply planning per Plant.        

  • Identify training gaps via Skills matrix and prioritize via Pareto and build development plan for gaps closure. 

  • Support factories in planning development projects for performance improvements and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

  • Act as EMENA Operations Planning SPOC in case of new route to markets.  


What will make you successful


 



  • At least 5 years of Supply Chain experience, including several years in a Supply Planning role

  • Relevant operational experience as a Supply Network Planner in a central organization

  • Expert of APO master data

  • Relevant experience in the management of a virtual team

  • Train the Trainer accredited or similar recognized training body

  • Experience in project management is a strong plus 

  • Proficiency in English, French would be an asset
