Our technology team is searching for DevOps / Quality Security Engineer at our office in Basel.

What can you expect at jacando:

• Support the development and renovation of our existing applications


• Support in the development of exciting new cloud applications within an agile environment


• You are designing architectures and introduce new concepts as well as technologies


• Optimisation and automation of processes using the relevant technologies


• Ensure quality standards in our application development in an operational manner, as well as utilising new concepts


• Further development of the test management and support of colleagues in regards to both quality and security related questions


• Conduct instructive lessons and trainings of existing and new employees in regards to both quality and security related questions


• Ensure the proper and adequate documentation of the reporting as well as the subsequent optimisation of said processes


• Construction and operation of cloud landscapes with modern technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes


• Ensuring the security of the cloud landscapes through: techniques, rules and processes

What you bring to the team:

• You are a young and dynamic individual, who is enthusiastic for computer science


• You have a degree in computer science, or economic computer sciences


• You have experience in software development, either through education, hobby or past employment


• Your experience and passion for computer science can be easily translated into projects


• You have solid JavaScript knowledge and can learn new traits easily


• You have experience with software quality and testing (ideally with Jest Framework)


• Solid DevOps capabilities and knowledge to relevant technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes


• Experience with NodeJS, React, Single PAge Applications and (Apollo) GraphQL is desirable


• Experience with Express Framework and MongoDB, other NoSQL are advantageous


• Essential knowledge in further technologies / tools / frameworks such as ag-grid are advantageous


• First experiences in cloud data centres such as AWS, to further build on modern infrastructure


• You can structure and analyse complex facts


• You have high quality standards in your own work, and can work independently


• You are very good at German, as well as English, any other language is an advantage


• You have a relentless desire to learn new things, and to develop yourself in various different areas
