In this role you will perform component maintenance and repair activities (such as tests, repairs, overhauls and modifications) in accordance to valid work instructions and in compliance with related regulations considering time, cost and quality at all times. This position is temporary 10.09.2018 – 31.10.2018.
Your tasks
Work to be performed in accordance to valid working instructions and regulations
Work to be performed in accordance to customer repair orders and in line with defined work scopes
Check and control previous tasks and maintenance activities in regards to defined release to-service accountabilities and quality processes
Ensure accuracy and correctness of component related documentation as shop reports, test protocols and release-to-service certificates
Consider time, cost and quality at all times
Ensure high grade of utilization (productivity)
Ensure strict compliance to standard practices and processes
Perform all works listed in the their respective SAP Qualification Records
Perform D-checks where defined and necessary (if applicable)
Train new employees as per department direction (if applicable)
Ensure compliance to all safety and quality regulations and rules
Active participation in continuous improvement activities
Ensure clean working space considering principles of 5S
Ensure current level of trainings and qualifications
Your profile
Technical apprenticeship (or comparable) is a requirement
Finalized module course 8 (SVFB) desired
Expertise in the aviation industry prefered but not mandatory
Fluency in English at level A2 or higher, knowledge of the German language (B1) is an asset
