Job Description


The ''Head of Investor Relations'' will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive IR, starting with the preparation of our successful IPO and onwards. She/he will report directly to the Group CFO and proactively define and manage relationships with the investment community as well as establish processes and systems to build a well-regarded Investor Relations function.


Job Responsibilities



  • Lead the strategic planning, direction, and execution of investor relations in a pre-IPO context all the way though an IPO at the Swiss Exchange (SIX) towards blue-chip index inclusion (SMI)

  • Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s highly compelling equity story for delivering stakeholder value, incl. on ESG

  • Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework

  • In close cooperation with the CEO and CFO, lead the company’s pre-IPO workstreams, conduct the IPO and, post IPO, lead the preparation of regular financial results calls, investment conference calls, road shows, special investor events such as R&D/Analyst Days and investors events at medical meetings, one-on-one meetings with investors and media briefings

  • Collaborate with Legal to ensure that information is compliant with all product promotion guidelines and SEC regulations, including adherence to Regulation FD

  • Manage and direct external firms and consultants to deliver high-quality work at the expected cost

  • As a member of the Finance Leadership Team (FLT), align key stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, on investor relations and strategy


Minimum Requirements



  • University Degree in Finance//Business Administration/Economics

  • An MBA or equivalent is an asset

  • 15 + years of experience in a similar role with blue-chip Biopharma/Pharma/CPG players

  • Established relationships and credibility with the investment community, especially in the US, and, as an added advantage, with the business and/or scientific media

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including exceptional ability to present in a clear and concise manner

  • Able to lead and influence in a matrixed environment

  • Uncompromising ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and the highest level of discretion and knowledge of SEC & Swiss (SIX) disclosure requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Independent and highly motivated, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
