Job Description


We are currently looking for a 12-months FTC to join our growing Global Freight & Distribution Procurement team. The role can be based in any Galderma office in EU.


As a Global Category Buyer Freight & Distribution, you will create and own the strategic relationship with suppliers and senior internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organizational boundaries. You will drive key sourcing activities, ensuring logistics service availability to meet business goals while minimizing risk. You will be the trusted advisor in strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. You will work side-by-side with your stakeholders to deliver the saving initiatives and the best services to our customers.


Job Responsibilities



  • Develop and deliver long term sourcing strategies, drive key initiatives/projects with cross-functional teams; lead the implementation of the category roadmap with regional stakeholders

  • Develop commercial relationships with suppliers, with objectives of achieving optimal cost and performance

  • Support the implementation of TMS solution including the standardization and automation of freight tender management and spot bidding across all transport modes (air, sea, road, multimodal)

  • Propose recommendations and implement change management from analysis

  • Design and monitor metrics to track the performance of the projects and operations

  • Lead supplier performance management including improving cost, services, speed, and sustainability

  • Coordinate and collaborate with local/regional teams to deploy and manage the implementation of defined strategies


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor or Master’s degree

  • Strong analytical thinking and project management experience

  • Several years experience in transportation & 3PL management

  • Develop and manage metrics and dashboards

  • Ideal but not mandatory, you have experience in logistics and freight forwarding in pharma sector

  • Knowledge in GxP regulations

  • Team-oriented person, with customer focus and data driven

  • You take a good idea and make the goal even bigger

  • You have a firm grasp of the details, sound business judgement, ability to influence others

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Fluency in English
