For our headquarter in Davos, Switzerland, we are looking for a highly motivated person for the position of


Project Manager Global Education Events (80-100%)


In this role you will be responsible for the AO Foundation's cross-regional educational events such as the annual AO Foundation Davos Courses and global webinars and webcasts.


The areas of responsibility will include



  • Planning and organizing courses and events as assigned

  • Managing the organization of the assigned courses and scientific side events

  • Managing the development of the scientific programs

  • Coordinating with course Chairpersons to organize the scientific program of the assigned courses

  • Identifying faculty with Chairpersons and preparing faculty

  • Cooperating with staff responsible for educational commissions, Global Event Services (GES) team and 3rd party supplier

  • Managing the budgets

  • Managing all branding and communication issues to ensure ideal recognition and attention

  • Coordinating participant invitations and registrations together with the GES team

  • Managing all faculty concerns (invitations, travel, reimbursements, etc.)

  • Coordinating with faculty the scientific material to be presented (PowerPoint slides and other accompanying materials)

  • Coordinating with IT specialist the IT setup for all events

  • Managing the post-event evaluations of each webinar and webcast


In order to master this challenge, you have



  • Higher Education / Bachelor degree with at least three years professional experience in project work

  • Familiarity with a cross-cultural/cross-discipline working environment

  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English

  • A goal oriented and proven service orientation mentality

  • Motivation and drive to be an energetic self-starter with the ability to work in culturally diverse teams
