Mission
As Chapter Head, you will translate the developments in your domain into strategy within the chapter and ensure chapter alignment. You will inspire Group Functions Informatics strategy and help to shape the future of our organization to effectively contribute to Roche’s ambitions through leading-edge digital enablement of our partners in Group Communications, Legal and People & Culture as well as through holistic security strategies to enable the business across the enterprise.
As a people manager within Roche you will actively promote and stimulate the development and coaching of direct and indirect team members. With networked and collaborative ways of working, you will offer experiences and exposure to all who have the skills/capabilities to contribute to this chapter`s success.
What you'll be working on
Leading a team of Information Systems Managers (ISMs), who are accountable for the solution roadmaps and lifecycle aligned with Business & IT strategies. ISMs drive continuous improvements and elevate the overall service experience of Group Functions technology solutions. This includes managing positive customer experience, audit readiness and compliance as well as working with third party vendors to ensure business needs are met.
Define future needs, skills, capacity and sourcing of Information System Management in collaboration with other Chapter and Network Heads for Group Functions Informatics
Ensure a consistent promotion and job leveling process aligned with the sites the resources are located
Ensure best practice, governance and standards are applied globally, and knowledge is shared across
Develop Chapter capabilities, coach team members and oversee their performance management
Develop a vision and roadmap for skill and capabilities development aligned with the framework
Coordinate with other Chapters as needed and encourage future industry and technology tread capabilities throughout the Chapter
Build continuous improvement throughout the Chapter with a focus on increased IT efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity
Actively contribute to the Group Functions Informatics leadership team and Informatics initiatives.
Have a keen IT market focus: you are passionate about major trends in the way of working for the specific discipline
