We are bringing a new financial services paradigm to the digital asset economy. In scope of our international expansion strategy we are seeking for a Country Manager to ramp-up our Singapore based entity, reporting to our Chief Executive Officer. 

In this Senior Management role, you will perform the following tasks:

• Implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction in Singapore, with an initial focus on Capital Markets & Asset Management business lines. Furthermore, key initiatives include :
  
  
  
  • Obtaining CMS license
  
  
  • Establishing and driving a full functioning team in line with global operating model
  
  
  • Create best-of-call team by attracting top talents
  
  
  • Create South East Asian Business Development plan
  
  
  • Position SEBA as bank of choice and leader in Digital Asset & Currency space
  
  
  • Establish strong relationship with regualator and local business community
  
  


• Leading the development and implementation of the banks local strategy 


• Overseeing the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans defined by the Swiss headquater


• Driving the success of the organization in reaching its local financial growth targets in respect to new business generation as well as upselling on existing clients from other locations within the banks network (headquarter, subsidiaries)


• Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships and alliances across the local region  


• Participating in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the Country Managers Business Development activitiess, the organization's reputation, and the organization's potential for success


• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls


• Ensure compliance with all of the banks policies as well as regulatory compliance

For you to become part of SEBA’s journey, we require the following qualifications:

• +10 years of experience as a Country Manager / Lead role in Singapore within the banking industry


• In depth knowledge of Capital Market Investment Products, Trading & Wealth Management


• Solid understanding of Blockchain, Digital Assets, Currencies and Crypto


• +10 years of business development experience


• +5 years exposure and close collaboration with C-level staff, Board Members and Investors


• Significant local network in Singapore within the financial servies industry and others


• Robust process understanding from the content and technical IT perspective


• Ability to interact with process stakeholders at various levels and to provide executive sponsorship to global process leaders


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, internally and externally


• Very good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities


• Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives, focus on details and good analytical skills


• Strategic thinker, detail oriented, structured


• Fluency in English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
