Data Analyst


You will be an integral part of the Sonova Analytics Centre of Excellence, working alongside our talented team of data analysts, data scientists, and ML engineers, to design and implement cutting edge analytics solutions that help optimize processes, improve our products, and help the company reimagine the way data can be used to enhance people’s quality of life.


 


Your tasks


 


•    Prepare and analyze data from different data sources to identify patterns that help inform business decisions and proactively report on key metrics
•    Act as the primary contact with the business to identify and capture business requirements in partnership with domain experts e.g. through requirements gathering workshops, interviews, etc.
•    Communicate data insights effectively to business stakeholders
•    Partner with Visualization Designers and Data Scientists to create reports and interactive, predictive dashboards
•    Partner with the BW dev team to create new data models that enable more efficient analysis and reporting
•    Collaborate with other members in the Business Analytics team to define and measure the success of new solutions
•    Lead continuous improvement activities, e.g. evaluate and refine business analysis processes, practices and technologies, ensure robust quality assurance processes are adhered to, safe-guard data quality and privacy, etc.
•    Champion knowledge-sharing across the data analytics and business intelligence community


 


Your profile



•    2-5 years of experience in an analytics role, and/or ability to demonstrate strong analytics skills, preferably within the healthcare/medical device industry
•    Experience working on projects that include a predictive analytics component 
•    Digital marketing analytics experience incl. pricing marketing promotion ROI, omnichannel attribution, etc.
•    Passionate about data and its value in improving people’s lives
•    Proven ability of deriving insights from diverse data sources and translating them into clear and precise conclusions and recommendations
•    Ability to effectively adapt to change and willingness to learn and apply new technologies, processes and tools


•    Strong proficiency in T-SQL/SQL/Spark SQL, Python or R, familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, RShiny and Dash


     exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
•    Experience working with semi/unstructured data
