Job Description


We are looking for a Global Fertility Account Lead (Director) who understands and applies knowledge of the health care and fertility industry, market conditions, innovative contracting, regulations and applicable laws.


In this role you will partner closely with key countries to identify Global Top IVF centers and decision makers (clinical & procurement) and the relevant global Organon functions to develop and execute all components of the key account strategy, to ensure Organon successfully unleashes the significant growth potential for the fertility portfolio. 


This role will spearhead Organon’s commercial growth strategy to ensure that contracts are developed, negotiated and implemented in large IVF centers around the world to allow Organon’s current and future product range to be established as standard of care based on product quality, clinical evidence, cost-effectiveness and service offerings for both HCPs and patients. The role reports to the AVP, Fertility Commercial Lead, who is a member of Organon’s senior Commercial Leadership Team.


Primary Activities



  • Responsible for maintaining, identifying and advancing global business opportunities while maintaining, establishing and enhancing strong business-to-business (B2B) relationships with targeted customers.

  • Responsible for negotiating profitable agreements with various market stakeholders as aligned with various brand strategies and within approved pricing authority.

  • Engage senior leadership and be responsible for building trust and credibility with their assigned stakeholders through strong interpersonal relationships, in-depth knowledge of the stakeholder's organization, objectives, business and the market issues impacting those stakeholders.

  • Understand Organon’s strategy, objectives and various market issues that impact Organon.

  • Develop account plans for assigned accounts aligned with Organon Fertility Franchise strategies using tactics aligned with Organon policies.


Economic:



  • Negotiating, executing and managing direct agreements.

  • Supporting the company in negotiations related to Organon Fertility Franchise portfolio products.

  • Communicating – if available – approved financial, health care economic and budget impact models.


Operational:



  • Leading account planning and pull through for assigned accounts.

  • Managing ongoing communications among Organon extended teams and local markets

  • Promoting Organon Fertility Franchise products along continuum of care using approved messages and resources.

  • Conducting appropriate business review of contracted-account performance to optimize Organon Fertility Franchise net sales.


Qualifications, skills & experience



  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of recent sales and/or account management experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant external health care experience.

  • Deep understanding of fertility industry: Reproductive Medicine, gynaecology, or Women’s Health

  • Advanced knowledge of managed markets, payer dynamics and self-pay medical markets.

  • Negotiation skills, demand creation and intellectual curiosity.

  • Strong business and financial acumen of the external healthcare environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, executive presence.

  • Strategic account planning, customer and market research.

  • Strong Data Analytics capability.

  • Fluent in English

The role involves domestic and international travel up to 40-50% (when possible depending on current and future travel restrictions). We are moving into a more digital way of working and the percentage can decrease in the future.
