Digital Campaign Specialist, UpLink (1-year maximum duration contract)   The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the international organization for public-private cooperation.   The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.   UpLink is a digital platform hosted by the World Economic Forum, to crowdsource innovations which can accelerate the deliveryof the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The platform’s core objective is to unearth and scale the best innovations by connecting entrepreneurs, changemakers and experts with networks of decision-makers, who can implement the change needed for thenext decade.   Why we are recruiting The UpLink team is looking for a talented and versatile digital campaign specialist to drive an influencer strategy, primarily through LinkedIn, but also through other social media platforms. In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and implementing a digital media strategy for UpLink that leverages LinkedIn and other social media platforms through specific campaigns to attract the most relevant entrepreneurs, investors, experts and changemakers to the platform.   You will have an eye for process, strong communication skills and the ability to prepare easy-to-use templates that UpLink’s influencers can leverage across their digital platforms. You will have a solid understanding of the latest trends in social media, a track record of creativity and a broad range of digital skills.   You will be equally comfortable with the use of analytics and show a proven track record of using data to drivesuccessful digital media campaigns. You will be expected to contribute a steady stream of content ideas to the UpLink team, play a central role in our regular editorial meetings, liaise closely with colleagues and partners, and be confident enough to handle all stages of the digital outreachprocess.Reporting Lines & InteractionsThis role reports to UpLink’s Digital Editorand works closely with the blog, social video, and wider UpLink teams.The role is budgeted for an initial period of 12months.   Main responsibilities •Develop a dedicated UpLink presence on LinkedIn with a view to building a six-figure followership •Map and co-opt a globally diverse UpLink-LinkedIn Influencer community per thematic area •Work with the Digital team to understand the engagement impact of posts and on optimizing posts for sharing •Engage with prominent LinkedIn influencers and develop a cross-posting strategy with them •Contribute additional ideas, plan campaigns and conduct research that contributes to the growth and development of the UpLink platform.   The successful candidate will be assessed on •The initiation and implementation of a LinkedIn influencer strategy •Attracting relevant entrepreneurs, investors, experts and changemakers to the platform•Engaging UpLink influencers around specific campaigns linked to innovation challenges and persona-growth for UpLink. Preferred Requirements and Experience •Bachelor's or master’sdegree in communications, journalism or associated discipline •At least 5 years’ experience creating content for a broad audience •Flawless writing in English, any other language is a plus •Deep understanding of the latest trends in social media and digital storytelling •Prior experience leveraging LinkedIn to drive traffic and campaigns is a plus •Proven track record of using analytics to build audiencesand run editorial campaigns •Competence in digital tools like Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and Photoshop •Solid experience of using social media to drive traffic •Experience with digital marketing techniques including funnels and goal conversion wouldbe an advantage •Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to work•Interest in sustainability and environmental issues, technology,and innovation
