BenLink is a technology start-up company that is improving the global food value chain. We provide professional services for industrial food production sites through a global digital platform, using smart real-time technologies to match service technicians and customers. Services provided to customers range from inspections and maintenance to repairs and spare parts as well as specific data-based services. Service technicians are digitally trained

and enabled during the service execution in the field. We call them the "BenLink Crowd”.



Scope of the internship:

As part of the Business Development team you support the BenLink core team on strategic and operational matters. You also help ensuring that our partners and customers enjoy an excellent experience of working with BenLink and are familiar with our offering and its advantages to them. You will be responsible for gathering and organizing business intelligence to support BenLink’s growth in the relevant markets. You will support our partners and customers with their successful on-boarding and continued engagement with BenLink, including gathering feedback to drive further improvements of the BenLink platform. Moreover, you will help defining business requirements and processes, and support in implementing them.Introduction About BenLink:

As part of the Business Development team you support the BenLink core team on strategic and operational matters. You also help ensuring that our partners and customers enjoy an excellent experience of working with BenLink and are familiar with our offering and its advantages to them. You will be responsible for gathering and organizing business intelligence to support BenLink’s growth in the relevant markets. You will support our partners and customers with their successful on-boarding and continued engagement with BenLink, including gathering feedback to drive further improvements of the BenLink platform. Moreover, you will help defining business requirements and processes, and support in implementing them. Tasks Strategically:

- Support on country analysis, to create the strategic direction, on industry focus, machine type strategy, etc.

- Support in implementing the roll out plan – so called “cookbook” in the countries

- Support on developing the service/product portfolio per country, based on the installed base (Bühler) and BenLink’s strategy.



Operationally:

- Onboarding service companies in local markets (Search for companies to join the BenLink network, Convince them to join the network, Onboarding support for service companies (demo-calls))

- Assisting in coordinating service requests and service execution

- Support on improving monthly reporting, i.e. forecasts per country, service events sold, hours sold, etc.



Marketing and Communication:

- Develop the BenLink brand internally and externally by developing Benlink customer presentations, marketing material, and supporting in driving marketing campaigns together with Bühler

- Support in driving BenLink marketing campaigns towards end-customers

- Stipulating end-customers to order directly from our platform



Interface between IT and business:

- Elaborate process descriptions for relevant internal processes and support implementation

- Continuous improvement of processes and their implementation (incl. GDPR)

- Requirements gathering for the BenLink app Required qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor Degree in a technical field or in Business Administration from a University or University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule)

  • With your entrepreneurial mindset you find opportunities everywhere

  • You are relentless - you stop dancing 2 hours after the party has ended

  • You are curious for new business models and digital technologies

  • You show enthusiasm, commitment, creativity and a positive attitude

  • You are proficient in German and English (this is a must)
