MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• Plan and execute the day-to-day support activities of finance and controlling applications


• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in the following modules FI, FI-AA, CO, PS, IM, and RE-FX on ECC6 (Hana DB)


• Provide support for SAP add-ons (e.g. accounts payable workflow, collections) and applications from other non-SAP manufacturers


• Support various interfaces between SAP and other systems


• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issue management related to the setup and maintenance of finance applications


• Plan and execute contract management


• Plan and provide user training


• Collaborate internationally with our colleagues in South Africa and Middle East to harmonize the process and system landscape in the financial area

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Strong functional knowledge in the area of finance and controlling including accounting and reporting principles (IFRS)


• Several years of professional experience in a demanding IT environment with a focus on the SAP finance modules, preferably consulting experience


• Good general IT knowledge as well as sound overall SAP knowledge (incl roles and authorization management)


• Fluent German language skills, English written and spoken (minimum level B2)


• Analytical thinking


• Communicate effectively and frequently with our internal clients; be responsive and available to concerns, issues, feedback, and questions


• Solution-oriented and cross-process thinking
