Account Manager PwC Switzerland for a global insurance client

Your tasks



  • You will be the Account Manager for one of our global priority clients in Insurance and contribute - together with the respective leadership teams and global account team members - to the success of the account.

  • You will directly interact with client stakeholders such as procurement and business stakeholders e.g. in context of pursuits or client feedback meetings.

  • You will play an important role in helping to define and implementing the account strategy, coordinating the global account team and driving strategic topics.

  • You will work directly with the Global Relationship Partner (GRP) and territory lead partners, support them proactively and drive the continuous improvement of relevant processes.

  • You will coordinate activities with global and local Legal and Risk functions in case of updates to the global framework agreements including the communication of changes to the global team.

  • You will support and take responsibility for global, regional and local management requests such as budgeting, reporting, strategic planning etc.

  • You will be in charge for organizing events like the global client planning workshop for Partners, Director and selected key client speakers.

  • You will manage the account in Salesforce/other systems and keep relevant data up to date.


Your profile



  • You have a Bachelor or Master's degree and 5 years plus work experience in professional services or business development. Experience in working in a global Insurance company with a matric organization is a plus.

  • You have gained experience in leading teams and feel at ease in an intercultural set-up.

  • You are a team player with a high level of empathy who is flexible, proactive, solution-oriented and motivated by a dynamic and demanding working environment.

  • You have strong analytical and project management skills, a convincing and client-focused personality and are used to working with senior stakeholders.

  • You are proficient with the use of MS office / Teams / G-suite products and are happy to work with new tools. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

  • You have worked in the insurance industry. Having worked for one of the Global insurers would be a clear plus.

  • You are fluent in English, German would be a plus.
