For our Swiss subsidiary in Global Human Health based in Lucerne we are currently looking for a Senior Specialist Market Access - Pricing (m/f/d) (full-time, indefinite).
On this role you will be responsible for the listing of our Company’s products on the list of reimbursed drugs in Switzerland and for the implementation of our pricing strategy.
This position offers a distinct opportunity to support patient access to innovative medicine and to be involved in the building and implementation of our Company’s pricing strategy. The submission of pricing dossiers and the negotiations with authorities ask for deep knowledge of the swiss health care and pricing system as well as a sound understanding of the concerned therapeutic areas.
THE PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Build and implement pricing strategies for our Company’s products in Switzerland allowing fast access to innovative medicine for Swiss patients.
Assure involvement of all relevant key stakeholders in order to develop and implement our pricing strategies.
Conduct price reviews for concerned products.
Develop state of the art value dossiers for the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) submissions based on WZW criteria (efficacy, appropriateness and economic value).
Take responsibility for the interactions and negotiations with the pricing authorities (Federal Office of Public Health).
Pro-active support of our business colleagues with product launches and life cycle management of products.
Closely collaborate with our regional and global Teams for all matters above.
Act as the primary point of contact for pricing related questions for a specific set of products.
Ensure local alignment of pricing assumptions with the business and with the finance department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Economics or equivalent.
3 to 5 years relevant business experience in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
Several years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing and market access within the Swiss Market is necessary.
Proven track record of successful collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).
Digital Savviness, with strong capabilities in MS Excel.
Experience in Marketing, Medical, Policy or Clinical Research would be an asset.
Proficient German (native level) and business-fluent English knowledge, both written and spoken. French and/or Italian knowledge is advantageous.
Strong communication & collaborative skills and the ability to effectively work both independently and within a team environment.
Business and financial acumen; ability to think strategically and to solve complex problems.
