You will be part of a young, dynamic and talented team working on analytics and artificial intelligence with real-life, impactful business applications.” Thomas M.; Data Officer & Watch Operations Director

The purpose of this role is to complete our central data team to support the deployment of Google Looker within Cartier.

Leveraging our datalake on Google BigQuery, you will be in charge of implementing Looker reference architecture, developing data models, supporting end-users and administering our new at-scale analytics platform.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

"The analytics engineer sits at the intersection of the skill sets of data scientists, data analysts and data engineers.” In close collaboration with our data engineers, data scientists and data analysts, you will build business-ready data models for analytics purposes. You will take the most out of our cloud data ecosystem, namely Google Cloud Platform and Google Looker, to provide clean, insightful, and governed data to our business users.

You will apply software engineering best practices to analytics (version control, testing, continuous integration).

You will maintain the related documentation, materials & data definitions.

You will train developers and explorers on how to use the analytics platform to build dashboards and get actionable insights.

You will actively participate to conferences and enrol in online courses in relation to analytics and cloud technologies.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?

You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or in any similar scientific field and 3+ years of experience in analytics and/or data warehousing, ideally in an international context.

You have a transversal understanding of cloud technologies, a first experience with Google Cloud would be a plus.

You have a passion for SQL and cannot wait to earn your LookML developer certification (if you do not have one already!).

You have a good understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model and you like to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly delivering new features for demanding business users.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOU SMILING?

In a young and dynamic team focused on personal development (trainings, conferences, certifications, etc.), you will take part in Cartier’s data journey.

You will work with multicultural stakeholders and for a leading Company in the luxury industry.

YOUR JOURNEY WITH US:

 1.    If your application is selected, we will reach out to you ASAP for an informal introductory call.

2.    The next step from there would be a first technical call with our Team lead; and if there is a match, you will have a personal meeting with our Data Officer & Watch Operations Director and our HR Manager.
