Lead Functional Architect - Oracle Fusion Finance

What you will do


Johnson Controls is undergoing a massive business transformation program and we need your Oracle Financials experience to make it success!  We embarked on a multi-year journey to transform our various ERP’s within the Installation and Services businesses from on premise legacy platforms to the Oracle Fusion ERP.


We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Functional Architect who will bring along solid knowledge of RTR process and expertise in functional configuration of General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules in Oracle Fusion. He/she will also lead team of of Record to Report Oracle Functional Architects.


Candidates based different locations across Europe can be considered on individual basis.


How you will do it


This position will primarily focus on, but not limited to the Financial Applications within the Oracle Fusion ERP Suite



  • Lead a team of Record to Report Oracle Solution Architects to define a harmonized Oracle process within the R2R and A2R spaces across multiple instances of Oracle Fusion, segmented by region

  • Management and Development of the R2R Solution Architect Team

  • Drive and influence the delivery of solutions across our entire Oracle Fusion eco system incorporating multiple locations with a specific focus on our Installation, Service, and Retail businesses

  • Define a Global Template in the R2R and A2R spaces to be used by our regional business units

  • Continue to evolve the global template in the R2R and A2R spaces post implementation

  • Execute Oracle Fusion programs in conjunction with Partner Organizations for Solution Delivery

  • Reviewing and approving all deliverable work products prior to delivery to customers

  • Influences senior business leaders on business process improvement and data quality.

  • Collaborates with Global Infrastructure Architects

  • Collaborates with ePMO Program and Project Managers.

  • Collaborates with Application Support Organization to resolve escalated incidents

  • Providing functional industry-specific subject matter expertise to support requirements gathering, solution design, and oversight


What we look for


Required



  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of overall Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EBS Experience

  • General Ledger and Fixed Assets expertise in Oracle Fusion Functional configuration and solutions for small- and large-scale initiatives

  • Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion applications (minimum two implementations)

  • At least 3 years of experience leading projects in an onsite/offshore model

  • Working Knowledge or Oracle Database and Database Structures

  • Experience in partner engagement with an onshore/offshore delivery model

  • Experience working with customers to gather requirements and defining the solutions for small and large projects

  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical as well as business audience

  • Expertise in working with database technologies including scripts, stored procedures etc. as well as standard Oracle Tools such as sqldeveloper, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI, etc.
