Your tasks



  • Leading the technical bid engineers team

  • Checking and guidance for bid-engineers related to clarification of customer requirements

  • Checking of inquiries to ATP (Automatic Train Protection) suppliers including technical and commercial aspects prepared by bid-team

  • Check and Confirmation of the proposed ATP architecture with Bid-engineer

  • Review of offer technical concepts with the Bid-project team

  • Review of the technical description for the proposed solution

  • Review and approval of Engineering hours calculation

  • Direct interface with Stadler business development

  • Direct interface with ATP suppliers

  • Direct interface with the customer for technical clarification during the offer phase

  • Review of the final offer to customer on technical side


Your profile



  • Completed technical education as an electronics, electrical or IT engineer ETH / TU / FH or comparable

  • Wide knowledge of ETCS (European Train Control System), including the standards of the European Railway Agency (ERA)

  • Wide knowledge of national train control systems in various European countries

  • At least 5 years of experience in bid and tender management or project execution in signalling area

  • Knowledge of RAMS / LCC (Life Cost Cycle) topics

  • German language is a must.

  • English language on B2 level. Other languages are welcome

  • Interested in working in a multidisciplinary and international work environment

  • Good interpersonal and management skills
