Industrial Assembly Solution is a division within Atlas Copco's Industrial Technique business area. We offer multiple joining technologies from a single source and are a competence partner in innovative joining for the automotive and general industries worldwide. Our adhesive dispensing, self-pierce riveting, and flow drill fastening are marketed under the product brands of SCA, Henrob, K-Flow, and Scheugenpflug. The Division is headquartered in Bretten, Germany, with manufacturing in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and China. We are now looking for a Global Manager IT / ERP for our Division.

Mission

You will drive the divisional IT strategy aligned with business needs and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. You will drive digitalization in all business levels within the IAS Division and align them with the Business Area strategy and local needs. You will select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and optimize the strategic benefits. You will ensure that the Division operates in line with the company's culture as outlined in "The way we do things." In this role, you will report directly to the President of the IAS Division.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the divisional IT strategy aligned with our business strategy and business needs.


• Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.


• Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.


• Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.


• Develop a global IT support infrastructure aligned with existing support structures.


• Organize the Division IT architecture and support existing cloud solutions.


• Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.


• Oversee the Division's technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) to ensure optimal performance and develop an IT roadmap.


• Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain a competitive advantage.


• Drive and guide improvement projects and ensure efficiency.


• Analyze the costs, value, and risks of information technology to advise management.


• Take an active part in business development activities and acquisitions.

Experience requirements

You have proven experience in a similar managerial role (10+ years). You have extensive knowledge and background in IT systems (SAP knowledge is mandatory) and complex IT infrastructures.

Educational requirements

As the ideal candidate, you will have a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields or comparable education. Fluency in English is mandatory.

We are looking for a person with excellent communication and presentation skills as well as high cultural ability. You will have an exceptional problem-solving attitude, a robust strategic business mindset, and strong organizational and leadership skills. Working in a matrix organization closely with the other Divisional management team members, you will need to have a passionate interest in the business and always aim for a customer-oriented solution. You are self-managed, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic individual with the ability to prioritize. In non-COVID times extensive global travel will be required.
