Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) is an organization of over 10,000 staff aligned to the product suite that supports Information Technology infrastructure (e.g. mainframe, servers, connectivity, desktop, mobile, Lync, and voice) and Business Application and Support. It encompasses support for all Credit Suisse IT requirements. Following our strategic decision to build out our Network multi-functional Services team in Switzerland we are hiring Network Engineers with specific skills in DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), IP Address Management, NTP (Network Time Protocol) and Load Balancing


 


We offer:



  • Acting in our team of highly skilled technical specialists in the delivery of the low level design, implementation, maintenance and configuration as well as assuring 2nd and 3rd level support of cross-functional network services within the Global Core Infrastructure Services Portfolio.

  • Driving the cross-functional services as a Network Engineer with key focus on global IP Address Management, DNS and DHCP services but also Load Balancing and NTP. Taking an end-to-end ownership on the design and implementation tasks assigned. Assure compliance with the IT standards and processes and drive automation and quality improvement.

  • Contribute to product & service offering innovation and growth, including collaboration with customers, other Service groups and close contribution with the Automation and Tooling team to speed up automation.

  • Collaborate with the Architecture and the Service Manager to understand the strategic direction of the products and services within the Global Core Infrastructure Services Portfolio and contribute with feedback to the service advice for process optimization among the team and towards operation.

  • Be a member of the core team within Switzerland and partner with a globally distributed technical consultants to assure deliver and 2nd and 3rd level support of a global service!


 


You Offer

 

You offer:



  • Experienced in creation of artefacts like low level design, migration plans, monitoring definition and skilled in implementation, maintenance and 2nd level incident support and problem management.

  • You possess a deep understanding in network managing tools and have a proven plurennial experience in at least one of the technologies IP address management, DNS, DHCP, Network Time Service or Load Balancing and sound understanding of the service consuming infrastructure such as DC LAN, Client LAN, Wireless LAN and clients.

  • Experienced in automation in IT to support disciplines like implementation, change management and compliancy checking.

  • Capability to build and maintain positive relationships with the internal customers, your colleagues and towards vendors you have proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
