First Line of Defense - Sustainability Strategy, Advisory and Finance (SSAF)

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us to act as First Line of Defense to support the Sustainability Strategy, Advisory and Finance  (SSAF) Governance and Controls team based in Zurich. Your responsibilities include leading non-financial risk reviews across the SSAF function and managing various internal governance and control framework objectives to ensure SSAF operates within a robust control environment. You develop and maintain the Control Assessment Framework (CAF) and are responsible for SSAF submissions to the Business Controls Meeting and divisional Risk Management Committee, in addition to supporting SSAF’s Audit and MICOS planning. Through partnership and collaboration, you provide First Line of Defense support to the group.

You join the Governance and Controls team within Credit Suisse SSAF, which sets the bank’s sustainability ambition and public commitments and is responsible for selecting the bank’s core sustainability themes. It also determines flagship initiatives, divisional sustainability metrics and leads the bank’s public profile on sustainability. Our team is dedicated, proactive, collaborative, and forward-looking. Your skills and experience

 

We are looking for:



  • Experience of 6-8 years from a First Line of Defense role with a good understanding of non-financial Risks and control frameworks  

  • Commitment to working to ensure the strategic objectives of SSAF are delivered within an effective control environment, a track record to consider and critically appraise risks associated with the day to day work of this complex multi-product global function

  • An ability to manage a busy and varied workload accurately and efficiently, delivering to deadlines

  • High attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Interest and passion in the field of developing credible sustainable financing and assisting the Bank deliver on its ambition to become a Leader 

  • Fluency in English. Additional languages such as German are of advantage.
