Analyst / Associate - PM Real Estate

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us as an Analyst/ Associate within Aventicum Real Estate, a growing real estate private equity investment management platform, in Zurich or London. 
You assist with the investment acquisition process, coordination of due diligence and liaise with lenders, advisors and sellers. You conduct market research and prepare detailed cash flow models, projecting investment cash flow from operations, financing and calculating tax impact, as well as partnership distribution waterfalls. In collaboration with other members of the team, you assist in the preparation of internal presentations for new investments, including Screening  and Investment Memorandums . You discuss potential new investment opportunities and strategies with senior management.  
You support the asset management of existing investments, by preparating and monitoring business plans, updating cash flow forecasting models, reviewing lease up and capex initiatives and regularly evaluating and executing divestment opportunities. You oversee the compliance of loans and, where appropriate, liaise with lending banks. You interact regularly with local implementation partners, professional advisors and agents. 
You should expect to travel frequently within Europe

Your skills and experience

 

You’ll be a good match, if you have:



  • University degree or equivalent education

  • At least 2-3 years of experience, in underwriting and completing value or opportunistic real estate investments.

  • Profound numeracy skills and cash flow modelling in Excel (real estate cash flow and investment modelling)

  • A demonstrated ability in good understanding of macro and micro markets across all real estate sectors

  • Good communicator, team oriented and with strong integrity and professionalism

  • An ambitious, driven, entrepreneurial demeanor and aptitude to complete tasks under pressure.

  • A positive outlook, strong work ethics and excellent problem solving skills

  • In addition to English, fluency in at least one other language would be preferred
