We offer: 



  • An exciting senior risk management role based in Zurich embedded within the COO department with two main areas of responsibility, both focused on Cross Asset Execution trading desks in 9 IWM locations across Europe, the Middle East and Americas:

    • The role of FLDS (First Line of Defense) with the responsibility to maintain and further develop the risk management framework and governance in close alignment with local IWM location FLDS representatives and the central departmental GTS Controls team. This includes RCSA/CAF standards, operational incident management and risk mitigation actions, harmonization of risk management tools and system usage, coordination of processes, negotiation of Memorandum of Understanding etc.).

    • Key contact and support for the Head Cross Asset Execution International Locations for any risk related matters. This include close collaboration with staff in the locations and driving the department’s operational risk activities (e.g. risk reporting, regular desk reviews, audit preparations and support, preparation of materials for risk governance forums and other risk related processes).


  • to build a diverse network within the organization by working with key business partners across different functions and divisions including among others Trading Business, Operational Risk Management, Compliance and Audit

You Offer

 

You offer: 



  • A completed university degree or equivalent (preferably in the areas of business administration, economics or law)

  • You possess a good product knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Securities Execution and/or Capital Markets Business 

  • You have a proven track record of at least 3-5 years of experience in an Execution /Trading environment including a minimum of 3 years Operational Risk Management/First Line of Defense or Business Management/COO 

  • Microsoft application advanced user skills including Excel (e.g. formulae and macros), PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

  • You are a team player with strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a can-do attitude and a structured, solution-oriented approach

  • You are an open-minded, self-motivated, independent individual with strong soft skills who enjoys working in a team, has a good sense of humor and client service attitude

  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis 

  • Strong communication skills in written and verbal English, any other language particularly German is considered an asset
