Your field of responsibility
We offer a challenging senior position within the First Line of Defense Support (FLDS) team, the inhouse center of competence in risk matters for the Private Banking markets of Russia, Israel, East-ern Europe and Central Asia. An outstanding opportunity to work in a meaningful role on risk related projects and act as a sparring partner for the senior management and all Business Area functions in dealing with operational and conduct risks of BA Emerging Europe.

In collaboration with central risk functions you contribute to the evolution of the Risk and Control (R&C) Framework of the Emerging Europe business, develop and implement best practice standards for the Business Area, as well as support identifying, analyzing and mitigating overarching risk pat-terns. Coordinate, prepare and document risk related Committees, sound with stakeholders and drive follow-up actions.

A chance to cover the business risk management needs of Emerging Europe units and act as a committed SME for specific risk related topics.

Your skills and experience
You describe yourself as a persuasive communicator with a positive “can-do” attitude who can iden-tify areas of improvements and gaps. You are results oriented, dedicated and hardworking with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. We are looking for a motivated colleague with the fol-lowing skills set:

• University degree or equivalent (preferably in the areas of business administration, econom-ics or law)


• Track record of at least 5 years in Business Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Consult-ing, Audit or in a front position within Private Banking


• Sound experience in leading impactful projects, tackling complex issues and executing initia-tives in the context of a large organization


• Ability to perform excellent stakeholder management and build and maintain trusted relation-ships at senior management level


• Team player with strong analytical and conceptual skills combined a structured, solution ori-ented approach


• Highly engaged and able to prioritize your own workload even while working under pressure


• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to simplify complex issues to facilitate and expedite the decision making process


• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
