The Marketing Communication Manager role is tolead global MarCom strategy and initiatives to drive awareness, conversion and loyalty along the customer journey aligned to the Animal Nutrition & Health strategy while enabling sales targets.


 


The position:



  • Work across all Species, Categories, Regions and other stakeholders through the value chain

  • Co-create with the regions, categories and species the communication ensuring most impactful messages to customers

  • Develop internal/external communication strategy & plan across innovation funnel

  • Build and implement campaigns with different partners (e.g. agencies, Digital Marketing on social media). Review and guide on advertising and programming

  • Measure success of marketing communication and adjust plans basis analysis

  • Create rules and standards for communication formats, channels & messages

  • Foster internal communication (Employee engagement, change management)

    • Mapping of the Competitive Communication Landscape and Audiences




  • Drive the purpose positioning and campaign internally and externally to showcase DSM’s thought leadership on Sustainability, aligned the Sustainable Goals of United Nations.



  • Manage Animal Nutrition & Health specific trade media and the activation calendar


 


The Ideal:


 



  • +8 years ‘experience in communication roles and/or +5 years experience in a Marketing role.

  • MBA/Post Graduate in Communications or Marketing

  • Strong fundamentals on marketing and communication strategies

  • Inspirational and self-driven professional with high influencing skills and a proactive mindset

  • Self-propelling and drive to accomplish and deliver by working with cross-functional team members (Digital Marketing, corporate and DNP communication, M&S, Animal Nutrition & Health leadership team, operations)

  • Passionate about driving changes in the ecosystem and spearheading reinvention and change

  • Customer centricity

  • Business acumen: knows what is important in the business e.g. Marketing and Sales experience, knowing who are the stakeholders (internal), some customer experience required

  • Good knowledge of social media platforms.
