Field Service Technician (North-East Region, Field Service, LAN, HW Support, Network, Ticketing system, German, English)

We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician in the North-East Region of Switzerland to join our team on client’s side. The role requires flexibility for occasional business trips within Switzerland.


 


Major Accountabilities:



  • Supporting users at the customer's site - technical field support

  • Ensuring smooth IT operations (LAN, WLAN, Internet, e-mail, VPN, telephone, printer, etc.)

  • Fault analysis, troubleshooting and documentation in the ticketing system

  • Documentation and further development of processes

  • Delivery and connection of the HW as well as instruction of the users (HW, Windows)

  • Onsite support in the hosting / network area (cooperation with remote team)


 


Skills and Requirements:



  • Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification, alternatively also lateral entrants with appropriate further training and professional experience

  • Very good knowledge of the current Win7 operating system as well as the current office applications and network technologies

  • Class B driving license (company vehicle is provided)

  • Experience in dealing with IT ticket systems

  • Independent, structured way of working as well as flexibility and commitment

  • Customer friendliness, service-oriented and teamwork

  • Business fluency in English and German (spoken and written), French language skills are a plus
