For our newly founded „Drone Academy“ which is part of the Mobility Academy at TCS, we are looking for a Programme Manager, based in Bern.

 

TCS, the largest mobility club in Switzerland, faces the challenges of today and tomorrow by actively helping to shape current changes in transport and mobility.

 

The Mobility Academy was founded in 2008 by TCS and has since followed all new trends in mobility. With the support of political, economic and scientific key players, it realizes a vast variety of projects around the topic of sustainable mobility and it regularly organizes national and international events. Its key areas are, apart from actively addressing the future of transport, electric, shared and active mobility. It developed and operates the first and still largest sharing platform in the world for electric cargo bikes "carvelo2go". It also runs the secretariat of the non-profit organization „Swiss eMobility“ and organizes once a year the Swiss Mobility Arena.

 

The Mobility Academy has recently received funding support for setting up and operating a new international competence center, focusing on the growing market of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Drone Academy’s prime objective is to consult and work with the mobility clubs of the Fédération Internationale de l’Autombile (FIA), enabling them to further develop their own drone-related businesses and operations.

Your tasks

• Setting up and operating the Drone Academy together with the director of the Mobility Academy based on an already completed feasibility study


• Building and expanding a global network of experts amongst the FIA member clubs and the international drone industry


• Developing new drone-related business models and supporting clubs around the world in their endeavors

Obligatorische Anforderungen

Your Profile

• Solid experience in the aviation-/UAV-industry or in the transportation sector with a strong interest in and good knowledge of the drone ecosystem


• A background in business development and innovation with at least 5 years’ experience in project management


• Team spirit and self-assurance in dealing with political and economic key players and media


• Ability to travel extensively


• Languages: English plus German or French fluently


• Willingness to take on additional tasks and work cooperatively in a small team
