This role will sit within the Hiring function which is part of the wider People & Culture team which looks after an entire employee journey starting from the candidate experience. Today we are a team composed of 1 Recruitment Lead, 1 Sourcing Specialist, 1 Culture Enabler and 4 P&C Gardeners. In 2021 we are growing our Hiring function within the People & Culture team in order to efficiently support the company in its high growth. We are looking to hire our second Talent Sourcing Specialist who will have a major impact by using their exceptional sourcing skills and creating strong candidate pipelines across both business and technical teams in order to meet the company’s growth targets. 


This position will be based in our Geneva office, which currently has approximately 120+ SonarSourcers today.


Even though SonarSource is home to over 27 different nationalities which is something we are very proud of, English is the official spoken language here, therefore this role will require a good level of English.


On a daily basis, you will 



  • You will develop a strong understanding of SonarSource products and take full ownership of sourcing for our technical and business teams (Software Development, Product Management, Technical Support, Product Marketing, etc.)

  • You will partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and the hiring function to assess and develop a strong understanding of their talent requirements

  • You will develop creative sourcing strategies and have a tailored approach for attracting diverse active and passive talent based on these requirements

  • You will engage with candidates and be an expert in evaluating their skills and capabilities 

  • You will take a data-driven approach to inform your sourcing strategy and rely on reports to manage and optimize your funnels

  • You will work closely with the hiring managers and recruiters and keep them up-to-date with weekly updates and support them on making decisions based on data

  • You will partner with the broader People & Culture team and take part in ad hoc projects and initiatives 


The skills you will demonstrate



  • You have 3+ years of experience in sourcing, working as part of a recruitment team, or working side by side with recruiters

  • You know how to identify both technical and non-technical candidates through the use of creative sourcing methods beyond the limits of LinkedIn Recruiter

  • The way your approach every piece of your work is fuelled by your excitement and passion for finding great talent

  • You love to research, find patterns, and trying new things 

  • Can do and positive attitude with a strong ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment 

  • Strong team player who thrives of bouncing ideas and sharing knowledge

  • Great communicator with a collaborative mindset who values feedback, both receiving and giving
