Senior Full Stack Engineer

Open Systems securely connects organizations' clouds, branches, applications, and users anywhere in the world and protects them by proactively monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats through our unified platform. Your mission:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will have the opportunity to bring Open Systems Customer Portal to the next level by enabling our customers to get the most seamless experience to manage and operate their global network and security. Together with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Service Engineers you will shape, specify, and implement solutions that emphasize the value of strong IT security services, ease the operation of thousands of devices deployed across the globe, and provide intelligent insights into security-relevant data and processes. 

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be able to co-define our architecture. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to participate in coached training programs in areas such as Linux operating systems, networking, and major internet protocols as well as network security concepts and practices.

Preferred qualifications:

Frontend

• React With Hooks


• PostCSS, CSS Modules


• TypeScript


• JavaScript/ES6 transpiling and bundling (Babel, Webpack)


• Mocha/Jest unit and snapshot testing


• Frontend end-to-end testing (Selenium, Cypress)


• Code style best practices (ESLint)

Backend

• Java 11+


• Spring stack (Spring boot, Spring MVC)


• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases


• Unit testing and testing principles


• Code style best practices (SonarLint)

You will be based at our EMEA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, and will get the opportunity to work out of our Operation Center in Hawaii for a few months.
