E2E Product Supply Chain Planner

Job Description


1.        Supply Planning:



  • Develop Supply plans for the commercial asset in Oracle systems

  • Ensure product availability to fulfill monthly sales target

  • Participate in Business continuity meeting to resolve short term supply issues, gain alignment, and develop recommendations for balancing demand and supply among External Manufacturing, Distribution and Logistics and Commercial Quality to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Communicate the strategic decisions across functional and business units regarding demand and supply balancing, inventory management for commercial asset, long range planning and the implementation of lifecycle changes into the supply chain

  • Identify long term demand and supply challenges and set appropriate inventory targets (being validated at the Global Supply S+OP and Exec S+OP)


2.        Supply Chain Planner on PO&T Asset Team



  • Represent a matrix team across the Supply Chain organization and serves as the primary point of contact within the PO&T Asset Lead and team

  • Communicate on overall product strategy to Supply Chain to ensure alignment with key stakeholders (e.g. Manufacturing, Quality, Distribution and Logistics and Senior leadership)

  • Ensure supply planning impact is acknowledged by the Asset Teams and achieve optimal demand/supply balancing


3.        Launch & Project management



  • Develop launch project timelines in alignment with Commercial goals and identifies resource requirements. Develops appropriate scenarios as a result of dealing with high levels of ambiguity and complexity

  • Support life cycle management activities across Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations

  • Develops plans and contingencies for ensuring stable supply for the introduction of new products and/or implementation of product lifecycle changes

  • Phase in Phase Out Planning of Asset


4.        Continuous Improvement



  • Support continuous improvement projects to drive expanded capabilities, improve the efficiency of existing processes and enable cost reduction. Collects and organizes data to inform decisions and/or action plans that support program / process improvements


Qualifications



  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or similar education required

  • Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt is an asset

  • 3-5 years of working experience in a Demand & Supply Planning role with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry

  • Proven ability to lead large cross functional teams and to operate in a matrix environment

  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle, the value chain (plan, source, make, deliver), and global supply chain functions that allows for effective cross-functional collaboration and efficient execution of day to day tasks

  • Able to deal with ambiguity and complexity. Anticipates potential risks, develops corresponding contingency plans, and can act proactively in order to support strategic and/or complex decisions

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to articulate recommendations and key decision points to senior management)

  • Exceptional team player with ability to develop a strong network across the company


Additional Information



  • Planning and coordination of product supply activities for commercial Finished Goods (FG) using the Oracle system. Depending on the product and/or region commercial Drug Substance (DS) and/or Drug Product (DP) may fall in scope of the role.

  • Support Life Cycle Management Activities and Product launch preparation

  • Represent the Supply Chain organization in the PO&T Asset team ensuring alignment of the Supply Chain strategy across the broader organization

  • Support regional S&OP process acting as interface between demand and supply points

  • Identify and communicate any supply risks to management and recommend and implement corrective as well preventive actions to maintain inventory targets and minimize supply risks

  • Participate in functional teams with key stakeholders such as Commercial S&OP, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Life Cycle Management
