The Challenge:


 


We are seeking an outstanding, highly motivated and hardworking Segment Lead (ELN) to join our business. Our Early Life Nutrition) is one of Human Nutrition and Health’s (HNH) strategic segments and has an ambitious growth strategy. This highly competitive, complex, and dynamic segment requires a strong Segment Lead to build and deliver our growth strategy.


 


Your mission is to:


 



  • Build the regional Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP), articulate segment priorities and relentlessly drive the implementation of the strategy across EMEA. Develop business or investment proposals for new markets, projects and categories to drive segment growth.

  • Participate in the building, implementation and regular adjustment of the global Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP).

  • Accountable and responsible for growing ELN CRM project funnel and deliver against targets or KPIs. Drive improvement of funnel quality and assess impact of projects commercialization on financial performance and growth ambitions.

  • Continuously assess regional macro and micro trends impacting the Segment market and identify innovation opportunity for the segment. Keep informed and share relevant industry news and reports on market, customers and competitors, understand competitor product offerings and business strategy and effectively relate this back to applicable HNH EMEA and Segment strategy updates to sharpen value propositions, innovations and concepts.

  • Work with the ELN global segment lead and innovation team, internal stakeholders and external partners to develop insights-led new concepts, product forms and business models and translate these into compelling launch and sales packages (including claim support and regulatory scoping), in line with the segment strategy.

  • Lead identification of premix opportunities for EMEA customers in partnership with support functions, KAMs and in coordination with the sales and commercial teams.



What experience are we looking for?


 



  • Bachelors/University degree in sciences, business or related field (a master degree a plus)

  • Ideally at least 5 years work experience in strategic marketing area with successful track record

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of trends in the segment and ability to create and amend a fluid strategy to align with these trends

  • Experience with successful ELN brands and or sales channels desired

  • Strong communication, presentation and customer facing skills

  • Knowledge of industry, markets and product applications
