To support our next growth phase and product expansion from a compliance perspective and to broaden our regulatory competence we are looking for a head of compliance.

Responsibility

• Ongoing management of our compliance framework (financial regulation, data privacy)


• Manage our model contracts, internal compliance regulations and process guidelines


• Provide advice to business line, such as AML client risk assessments in ambiguous cases


• Follow the evolution of the regulatory environment and identify opportunities for innovation


• Advise product development project teams on legal and regulatory aspects


• Manage regulatory license projects and liaise with regulatory bodies in Switzerland (FINMA) and in the future also internationally.


• Manage regulatory audits and liaise with stakeholders

Profile

• Master’s degree in law from a Swiss University


• Solid and profound experience in Swiss banking regulations (FINIG, FIDLEG, AML). Knowledge of regulation in the area of occupational pension schemes (BVG, BVV2, BVV3) a plus.


• Minimum 5 years of experience as a compliance officer in a FINMA supervised company, preferably a small Swiss bank or asset manager of assets of occupational pension schemes, or in a comparable role at FINMA or an auditor


• Excellent communications skills with ability to interact with various stakeholders


• Able to work under pressure, independently and in a dynamic and creative environment


• Adaptive, critical and outside the box thinking with an exact and diligent working style


• Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
